Omar Panosetti is a contemporary Argentine painter, born in Buenos Aires on April 25, 1960.

His main training in painting is acquired with the teachers Ana Eckell and Luis Felipe Noé.

His strong link with the multiple expressions of the Visual Arts, then leads him to continue his training in Cinema, Photography, Plastic and Art History.
He has made individual and group shows in Latin America, the United States, Europe and Asia, among the last:
2017- Show "A day of those" at the headquarters of AMIA, City of Buenos Aires.
2016- Sample and presentation of the book "A day of those" in Ensemble Gallery, City of Buenos Aires.
Show in San Luis. Sample in the City Bank. Invited by Tucumán to paint Mural in commemoration of the Bicentennial.
2015- Shows Galleria Cívica D ’Arte Contemporanea, and at Galleria Not’Art, in Siracusa, Italy. Quatre Regards Argentine, Librairie Veyssiere Gallery
Sigma, Tours, France. Collective exhibition in the UKAMA Gallery, in Malaga, Spain.
2014- Exhibition at the Museum of Arts of Olavarria, Prov. Of Buenos Aires. Exhibition at the Lozza Museum in the City of Alberti. Show "Coffee Drawings". Special for Café Martínez, book project.
2013- Invited to the Formula 1 Grand Prix of the Kingdom of Bahrain to perform a live intervention.

Some Awards:
2018 - Trabucco Foundation Award, made by the National Academy of Fine Arts, in the specialty of Drawing, where he obtained second place.
2014 - ARCITEC Contest Mention Award, organized by UNTREF and “Tinta de Rio” Tribute to Juan Gelman interactive work together with Federico Joselevich,
2013 - 1st. ECOARTEURBANO Contest Award. Together with Federico Joselevich, “STATION 96” Urban Intervention and realization of live stop-motion performance. 2nd. Drawing Award, Municipal Hall M. Belgrano of Drawing and Engraving, Bs. As. (2003). 1st Painting Prize Municipal Hall of February 3

In 2004 he was awarded the Grand Prize of Honor in Drawing of the National Salon of Visual Arts of the Palais de Glace.
He has made murals in the City of Buenos Aires and in the interior, including mural in commemoration of the victims of the AMIA attack, in 2010, “Argentine Memory” located at Av. Corrientes 300. SIGEN Headquarters.
