Gisela Gaffoglio was born in Buenos Aires in 1966.
Since she was a child she linked herself to the world of art in various manifestations such as dance, music and theater. Her approach to painting was carried out from experimentation and continuous practice attending a workshop of various teachers to complete her training, among which Duilio Pierri, Maggie de Koenisberg, and Ariel Mlynarzewicz stand out.
AWARDS, SALONS AND DISTINCTIONS
She participated in the Municipal Hall Manuel Belgrano 2017 with his work "That is what it is".
In addition obtained a mention in painting at the Biennial of Contemporary Art of Argentina 2016, for his work “Gualeguaychú” and a mention in painting at the Mauricio Algieri 2014 Salon, organized by the Municipality of San Isidro, for his work “Finale”.
She was invited by the Inac of Panama to officiate as an art jury at the Robert Lewis 2016 award.
Her work "La Argentina" belongs to the National Government's collection, being exhibited at the Argentine embassy in Panama.
Gisela´s work “Alma” has been selected to be exhibited or auctioned at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Panama (MAC) in October 2018.
She also participated in numerous exhibitions in the country and abroad and his abstract work was acquired on all continents.
